    • Welcome to Domaine Drouet - Cognac & Pineau for a warm welcome in Grande Champagne

Immerse yourself in the world of an independent winemaker : Patrick Drouet, a passionate winemaker, distiller, and producer, crafts sparkling grape juice, Pineau des Charentes, and Cognacs - from VS, VSOP and Napoléon to XO and Paradise - with exacting standards and a love of good food and wine, regularly winning awards. Each bottle reflects a mastery of craftsmanship, passed down through four generations, and a deep connection to the land.

Cognac's Premier Cru, an exceptional terroir that must be respected

Domaine Drouet is a family-run, artisanal estate nestled in the heart of Grande Champagne, only a few kilometers from Cognac, renowned for the finesse and exceptional aging potential of its eaux-de-vie. Across its 47 hectares of vineyards, work is carried out with respect for the environment. This commitment is reflected daily in sustainable farming practices and demanding environmental certifications such as High Environmental Value (HVE) and Cognac Environmental Certification.

Join the Drouet family for a warm, sincere and authentic break and discover a know-how that is passed down with passion from generation to generation.

Several wine tourism experiences are available:

      • A guided tour of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, including the discovery of the distillery and its rare stills due to their small size, the visit of the aging cellars with their secret atmospheres, then a guided tasting of Cognacs and Pineaux des Charentes, all of which are available for purchase at the estate.

For slow tourism enthusiasts, the choice is yours, in July and August :

      • Explore the vineyards by electric bike before enjoying a gourmet picnic prepared for you in front of a beautiful panorama.
      • Or simply take the time to breathe and relax while enjoying the scenery, around a picnic of fresh, local produce in the vineyards.

A very interesting visit led by a lady of Irish origin, quality products at reasonable prices. However, a major disappointment at the end: after explaining that I already owned three of their cask-finish wines, purchased through a Dutch cognac house that the lady knew well and who had visited them a month prior, and having spent €471.30 (including the visit), including the five cask-finish wines I needed, I received no gifts (no free visit, no free young Pineau, no free glasses, etc.). Elsewhere, I've spent far less and received various gifts. I suspect few people leave with such a high bill; their sales policy needs to be reviewed.
