Mégalithes "Le Gros Dognon" Archaeological sites in Tusson

Located in Tusson, this is the region's must-see megalith, one of the largest in France at 123 metres long. With its height of 10 metres, it's easy to understand why it's called the Gros Dognon, which means dungeon. It has never been excavated, but like the other megaliths, it served as a burial chamber, burying burials under stones and earth.
