What a pleasure it is to treat your taste buds to fine Charentais products! From aperitif to digestif, you'll be able to fill your palate with new flavors and delicious sweets. 

Start with Pineau des Charentes, a sweet, syrupy wine to be served chilled, before discovering the cagouilles served as an appetizer. Snails known as "les petits gris" can be eaten without hunger, fried in garlic butter with sausage meat. 

Veal from Chalais, chicken from Barbezieux or foie gras from Charente are perfect to continue with, accompanied by a local Charentais wine. And don't forget the cheese platter - it's a real eye-catcher, and if you're a gourmet, it can make up a whole dish on its own!
