Saint-Simon, a charming village on the banks of the Charente, offers a complete change of scenery with a gabarre trip. Also known as a gabarrier village, it is renowned for its history of inland waterway transport, and boasts a museum, a tourist trail and numerous graffiti carved in stone for you to discover during your visit.
